Here's what you do: 1. Install the font and launch the program, of course. 2. Type ? [question mark] to get the ring (optional). 3. The left-hand letters are located at the lowercase positions. Type the left initial. 4. The large center letters are located at the uppercase positions. Type the center initial. 5. The right-hand letters are somewhat trickier to locate. For Windows, the letters are located as follows: (in numerical order mostly, not too hard to find) A 1 N $ B 2 O % C 3 P ^ D 4 Q & E 5 R * F 6 S ( G 7 T ) H 8 U - or _ I 9 V = or + J 0 [zero] W [ or { K ! X ] or } L @ Y \ or | M # Z ; or : For Mac, use the above, OR option + [right-hand letter]. For E, I, N, and U you must also type a space after the right-hand initial. After the right-hand initial is typed, the monogram is complete and the cursor will move to the right. For a one-letter monogram, type ? [question mark] for the ring; < [less] for the blank in the left position; [CAPITAL INITIAL]; > [greater] for the blank in the right position. For an A&B style insignia, type ` [grave accent] to produce the ampersand in the center. Also: The ring and left and center initials have a pre-set width of 0 to allow for proper alignment of the 3- or 4-character set. There is no kerning in this font. Follow the directions carefully and the font will work properly to make monograms.
